scottish mainland road tourThis coast to coast cycle tour takes in some of the longest, highest and most spectacular glens in Scotland. Passing through the narrow, rugged west coast glens to the wide glaciated glens of the east.

On our first night in Stirling we have a welcome dinner and formal introductions with the opportunity to discuss the itinerary.

The tour starts with a day ride in the beautiful Stirling area or an optional train ride and visit to Edinburgh to enjoy the Castle, museums and gardens.

Before heading off to the west coast we ride in the Rob Roy country and Trossachs National Park near Callander with an opportunity to sail on a steamship on Loch Katrine.

We then transfer to the West Coast to commence our Coast to Coast ride. Our route takes us from the rugged west coast through the Great Glen to Speyside and into whisky country. We take the opportunity to visit Cawdor Castle and the secrets of the Moray Firth area before traveling south through the Cairngorm Mountains to Royal Deeside and finally over to Montrose on the East Coast.

During our transfer from Montrose to Stirling we enjoy our final lunch together in a quaint village.

We stay in Stirling both at the start and the end of the tour; an easy 40 mins train ride to Edinburgh. Stirling is perfectly situated giving participants the option to go for a beautiful day ride into the Trossachs National Park or visit the historic cities of Stirling and Edinburgh.
