Travelling from Glasgow/Edinburgh airports:

From Glasgow airport take bus
905 (from Bay 2) into the city (approx 25 minute ride). Buses run every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 15 minutes on weekend, cost is approx £4 one way. Get off at West George Street for the Queen Street Train Station and then take the train (40 minute ride) to Stirling. Our meeting point is a 10 minute walk from the train station.

From Edinburgh airport take
bus no 100 (from Stand 18) into the city (approx 25 minute ride). Buses run every 10 minutes daily 24 hrs per day, cost is approx £4 one way). Get off at Waverley Train Station and then take the train (50 minute ride) to Stirling. Our meeting point is a 10 minute walk from the train station.

HIRE BIKES

We have a large hire fleet of new bikes from Road bikes with drop bars (double and triple chainring) to Hybrid bikes with flat bars. All bikes are transported fully assembled on our special bike trailers.

Scotland Braveheart Road TourOur journey takes in some of the longest, highest and most spectacular glens in Scotland. We ride the rugged west coast glens to Skye and then north to the great wilderness areas of the north west highlands.

Join us and ride the waves of history and legends from the castle gates in Stirling to the famous Smoo Caves on the northern Scottish coast finishing in Durness.

Our adventure takes us through the mountains and glens of Rob Roy and William Wallace (Braveheart) country to Glencoe, and on the road to the Isles and the romantic island of Skye.

Riding north we take small ferries across the lochs and quiet highland roads through the rugged northwestern highlands to our final destination on the north coast.


Knoydart Wilderness

Ride with us and enjoy the unique and healthy atmosphere of the Scottish Highlands, its people, culture, music, and its spectacular unspoilt scenery.


"Glen of the Weeping"

There will be 11 days cycling with a rest day on the Isle of Skye. We will average 42 miles per day on quiet well surfaced roads.



The terrain is interesting and ever changing from flat to undulating (rollers) to well graded climbs in the mountains.


Support Vehicle

A sag vehicle to carry the luggage, spares, drinking water, snacks, and tools will support the group. This is a fully serviced tour with vehicle support and qualified Wildcat guides/mechanics. There are a few seats in the vehicle for riders wishing to rest.


All bikes are transferred on our special trailer

Riding on Skye

Accommodation is in traditional 3 & 4 star Highland Hotels and Guest Houses.


Trossachs National Park

We stay in Stirling both at the start and the end of the tour; an easy 40 mins train ride to Edinburgh. Stirling is perfectly situated giving participants the option to go for a beautiful day ride into the Trossachs National Park or visit the historic cities of Stirling and Edinburgh.
