A tour across the Southern Uplands represents for many people, the undiscovered face of Scotland.

MILES & MILES OF SINGLE TRACK……

Our route has been redesigned for the 2005 season to incorporate the best purpose built MTB trails (7 Stanes) in the Borders. All areas have several grades to suit the novice and hard core rider alike. We link the areas with classic cross country rides.

Routes designed by mountain bikers for mountain bikers and officially endorsed by the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA).

This is an area steeped in Scottish history and immortalized in our literature; Robert Burns, James Hogg, Sir Walter Scott etc.

Our route starts in Galloway near the English Border and moves east along the fine border tracks and roads to Galashiels. As the valleys tend to run north to south, this provides us with challenging ascents and many long descents. The Romans were here first and laid the foundations for our single track.

Let no-one be under the misapprehension that because it is not in the Highlands, it is too easy. On the contrary, the mountains may be more rounded and not quite so high, but the single track and scenery is equally spectacular.
