Morocco offers some of the most exciting and varied wilderness cycling areas anywhere.
Take a bike trip back in time in a natural setting that literally stuns the senses.
This is a unique route linking up some of the most spectacular and varied scenery in the south of the country. We ride through the lush Draa valley following the ancient trade route to Timbuktu then over the wild Jbel Sarhro plateau for the long, exhilarating descent to the high plains.
Moving into the High Atlas, we cycle through Morocco's two finest gorges and travel down the Valley of the thousand Kasbahs to finish in the Valley of the Roses.
Enjoy a landscape of vivid contrasts; sand; snow covered mountains; jagged peaks; volcanic pillars; secluded oases; palm groves; waterfalls and vast canyons opening into lush green valleys. As we cycle through remote Berber villages with their mud-built houses and children tending sheep and goats we are taken back to Biblical times.
The Jbel Sarhro and the valleys of the Draa and Ziz form a unique area of vivid contrasts and natural beauty. Sandwiched between the snow capped High Atlas mountains to the north and the Sahara to the south, it is the perfect location for your winter biking adventure.
Our route follows part of the great trade route to Timbuktu down the spectacular Draa oasis, a wealth of colour, to where the river disappears into the sands of the Sahara. We ride through villages of mud baked buildings, sand coloured kasbahs and remote valleys where time has stood still and nomads tend to their flocks of sheep and goats.
Moving east we experience sunset over Erg Chebbi, one of the highest sand dunes in the Sahara, before riding up the Ziz valley to the foothills of the High Atlas and Morocco's finest canyon, the Todra.
The Anti Atlas Mountains in the South West of the country is the perfect location to enjoy your adventure mountain biking during the winter period.
We ride down spectacular pistes through remote mountain villages surrounded by patchwork fields.
Seeking out previously unknown canyons and palm filled oases. Our landrover support and relaxed holiday schedule allows time to explore the area and the fascinating Berber way of life. The perfect introduction to MTB.
