NOMAD TRAIL The
Jbel Sarhro and the valleys of the Draa and Ziz form a unique area of vivid contrasts
and natural beauty. Sandwiched between the snow capped High Atlas mountains to
the north and the Sahara to the south, it is the perfect location for your winter
biking adventure. Our route follows part of the great
trade route to Timbuktu down the spectacular Draa oasis, a wealth of colour, to
where the river disappears into the sands of the Sahara. We
ride through villages of mud baked buildings, sand coloured kasbahs and remote
valleys where time has stood still and nomads tend to their flocks of sheep and
goats. Moving east we experience sunset over Erg Chebbi,
one of the highest sand dunes in the Sahara, before riding up the Ziz valley to
the foothills of the High Atlas and Morocco's finest canyon, the Todra.
Spectacular scenery, deserted roads, sunshine - that's why
