WOMEN'S MOUNTAIN BIKING SKILLS WEEK

The Cairngorm Mountains area offers the best mountain biking in the UK – the perfect location to hone your skills!

Please visit our Women's MTB Skills Week Photo Gallery

Our base for the Women’s Mountain Bike Skills Week is Kingussie in the heart of Speyside where we stay in a wonderful Highland Guest House.

Experienced Required: NONE! Just a willingness to learn, make new friends, ride with your peers and have a great time!

Throughout the week, instruction is given on bike setup, general maintenance, riding position and skills, trail side repairs, route finding and navigation, river crossings, clothing, nutrition, fitness, weather, etc. Each day combines both instruction and of course interesting and varied mountain bike rides on the wide variety of double track and single track trails. Daily rides are set in accordance with group experience and fitness (15-30miles).

The 5-day course is led by John Fulton. John is the Director of Wildcat Adventures, and a Qualified Mountain Bike Tutor. John’s racing and touring experience over 30 years in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East complements his easygoing manner and excellent teaching skills.

Joining John is Brigitte Lucas, a qualified Mountain Bike Leader who has been working with Wildcat Adventures in both Scotland and Morocco since 1999. She is an experienced guide blessed with a permanent smile!

This is a great opportunity for women who may be interested in taking up the sport or interested in pushing their riding to the next level in one of the most scenic areas of Scotland.
